To Ms. Graves family and friends and supporters,
Ms. Graves appeared before the New York Parole Board on September 2, 2010. Word reached her this morning that she will be released, after twenty-four years in prison, on January 25th, 2011.
Those of us who have worked on behalf of Ms. Graves release wish to thank her – for her unflagging belief, for her tenacious spirit, and for her stalwart resolve that she would never cease her petitions for justice while there was strength in her body and in her mind and in her heart.
We are euphoric!
